Jeff O’Neill Moves From Gibraltar to The Villa by Barton G

Chef Jeff O’Neill, of turkey burger fame, is on the move from Gibraltar on Grove Isle (f/k/a Baleen, until about a year ago) to The Villa, which is the restaurant at Casa Casuarina now run by Barton G.  Hopefully O’Neill will pack his smoked salmon loin appetizer in his luggage and bring it with him to The Villa; if you haven’t had a chance to try it, it’s a standout dish from the Gibraltar menu.

Gibraltar joins Azul in the category of Miami restaurants on islands that are looking for new chefs.
